About Taylor O'Connell
Southern New Hampshire singer/songwriter and guitarist, Taylor O’Connell has been singing since she could speak. An “old soul,” Taylor enjoys traveling and the freedom that the road fosters in her spirit, allowing her to create vintage rock music imbued with a timeless, western feel.
“Taylor’s lyrics and soul will draw you in. She has a voice like gold and a heart to match it” -Jordan Quin, CEO of Analogue Records.
Currently attending Berklee College of Music, Taylor is set to graduate with a degree in Professional Music in spring of 2023. Her newest project is her upcoming debut single, “Blue Ridge,” slated for release under Analogue Records in Fall 2022.
Growing up in a musical household, (her mother is a guitar player who toured with a local bluegrass trio in the 90’s), Taylor was always involved in music and was in her first musical when she was only four years old. She continued with musical theater throughout middle and high school, and when she moved to a new town her junior year, she joined an alternative rock band called Sand Shark. Taylor still performs with the band and their debut ep will be released in early 2023.
Taylor started her songwriting journey when she began college in Boston. Some of her influences include Fleetwood Mac, Paula Cole, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. After she graduates from Berklee, Taylor plans to move to Nashville, TN.
